to never watch TV again. The wondrous alternatives are endless, and I love the way this dude captures them. Actually, I think his whole ebook, Live Simple, is pretty cool.

The best reason for me to watch less TV? What’s on sucks.
There are a few interesting finds - Intervention on A&E is one of the best. Great insite into why so many of us have addiction problems.
I also like Lost. We all have our vices I guess
For me it’s never been about watching no TV, it’s about watching less TV and being aware of why TV exists - to sell us stuff by making us feel bad about who we are.
Some great ideas though.

Yeah, I’m not actually against TV as a medium. There are (and have been) some excellent shows out there. It’s more my relationship with watching TV that continues to be problematic. If I’m bored or tired I can watch just about anything, even if it’s extremely stupid and horrible. And when cable is there (which it is at the moment) it just means that there is heaps more garbage to choose from.
